Summer 2009

What is Day Camp?
Heartland Center Day Camp is a great way to spend a week or a whole summer!
Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment and for day campers to enjoy all the fun and faith enrichment of Heartland Center, without staying overnight.
Day campers participate in all same activities as our overnight camp including Swimming, Singing, Hiking, Games, Horse Rides, Team Building Challenges, Crafts, Scavenger Hunts, Frisbee Golf, and Nature Activities. Each week there will be special themed activities directly pertaining to the day camp theme.
The daily schedule is packed with fun activities and group building time, but also allows time for rest and reflection. Faith bulding is a primary goal for all Heartland Center programs. Each day, campers will have an opportunity to read and discuss the Bible. Bible studies are designed to be easily applied to real life.
Day Camp is for campers who have completed the Kindergarten through the 5th grades.
