This is a series of classes taught by Heartland Center's trained Wranglers.
Ages 12-18 Yrs

Let’s Ride!
Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
The moment you’ve been waiting for…its time to ride! The Wranglers will outfit you with a helmet and instruct you on how to steer, start and stop your horse. Then, your group and the Wranglers will take a trail ride through the winding wooded trails of the Heartland Center grounds.

Price: $8 per participant
(Ages 10 - 18 Yrs) What “rocks” in your world? Participants will take on the challenge of the rock wall to learn techniques to climb high! Heartland Facilitators will help focus the students on encouraging each other appropriately, along with making and achieving personal goals. (Online Registration begins April 25) Limit 16 participants per session.

Price: $8 per participant
(Ages 8 - 18 Yrs) Fire can be helpful or harmful. That is why participants of this program will learn fire safety and fire building. We will learn as we build a large community fire, then each participant will have the option of building their own pint-sized fire (with supervision, of course). As the community fire begins to glow, we will celebrate our success with s’mores. Adult volunteers will be needed to assist in monitoring safety (and eat a s’more, naturally). More adults are welcome to join in the fun.

*Individulal swimmer $4. Contact the Heartland Center office for Family Discounts(All Ages) Homeschool Adventures Pool Party! Come relax in the cool water at the Heartland Center Pool. Students will be able to participate in a few water games to really get the fun rolling!
(Online Registration begins April 25) Limit 75 swimmers.

NOTE: All participants need to complete a Release of Liability Form to participate in any Heartland Challenge Adventure (GPS, Teams Challenge Course, High Ropes Challenge Course - The Summit, Horse Trail Rides, and Pool). Please feel free to download this to fill it out before arriving for your Challenge Adventure. If you have any questions or concerns about your experience do not hesitate to contact us. Activities may be subject to weather and time constraints.
