Whether you are trying to fill rank requirements, complete merit badges, or have an interest in improving team-building and communication skills, we would love to accommodate your scouting troop.  We will even customize the entire experience to fit your needs.

GPS Adventures will allow the scouts to improve their teamwork, while working for a common goal.  Indirectly, each team member will have the opportunity to fulfill a number of requirements including hiking and compass use/direction finding.

We also offer Challenge Courses - the Summit and The Edge Courses, Horseback Riding and group swimming.  Dining services, lodging, and meeting space are available for your convenience.

Campouts

Heartland Center has several group campgrounds for troop campouts. Campgrounds include tent areas, picnic shelters, water supply, and toilet facilities.  Contact the Guest Services department to make troop reservations.

NOTE:  All participants need to complete a Release of Liability Form to participate in any Heartland Challenge Adventure (GPS, Teams Challenge Course, High Ropes Challenge Course - The Summit, Horse Trail Rides, and Pool).  Please feel free to download this to fill it out before arriving for your Challenge Adventure.  If you have any questions or concerns about your experience do not hesitate to contact us.  Activities may be subject to weather and time constraints.
