Lead Kitchen Assistant / Cook

Heartland Presbyterian Center is accepting applications for a lead kitchen assistant to prepare and serve meals for its retreat and camp programs.  This position is based on an estimated average of 30 hours per week August – May and 45 hours per week during the summer months.  Applicants must have: excellent customer service skills, a positive work ethic, previous commercial kitchen experience and a flexible working schedule.  Click the links below to see a detailed position description and to download an application.

Challenge Course Facilitators

Heartland Center has openings for part-time Challenge Course Facilitators. These are paid position leading groups through a Challenge / Ropes Course experience.

Heartland Center Challenge Adventure Facilitators

Some qualities we look for in our Facilitators:

Safety conscious, personable, patient, creative, enthusiastic, playful, adventuresome.

3-day training is provided for either The Summit (High Ropes) or The Edge (low ropes) or both.  Most of the work is on Saturdays between March and October. There is also occasional need for weekday facilitators. For more information, contact us.
