Camp ClassicsRelationships thrive during this week of camp as campers build fires, explore God’s wilderness and cook their meals over campfire! Campers have small group time set aside to form life long relationships as they conquer camp together. Camp Classics is a Christ centered camp that features horseback riding, archery and a high ropes experience on our state of the art challenge course. Be ready to build relationships, have fun and you’ll go home with great friends and a new understanding of God’s call in your life. 5-night camp. Housed in Platform Tents or A-Frame Cabins. Edge CampEdge camp is meant to engage campers through the ropes course, hiking trails and large group games. If you love competition this is the place for you. Whether it’s football, volleyball or a game your group made up, your week is jam packed with competitions for everyone. Housed in our Oak Place lodge campers will experience a community of Christ dedicated to growth while living on the “Edge.” 5-night camp housed in Oak Place Lodge. Challenge CampCome ready for an adventure that challenges you to go deeper in your friendships and deeper in your relationship with God. We’ll pack the week with challenges on our state of the art challenge course. Also experience our low ropes course and the rest of our camp activities like swimming, archery, campfire cooking, etc. Form life long friendships and be at home in a community of Christ. M.A.D.D. CampMusic, Art, Dance and Drama are wonderful gifts. Whether you are a dancer, singer, musician, actor, artist, or just want to learn more and be part of a fun performance! Come to MADD camp and use your gifts to glorify God. We’ll share our skills and learn from each other as we create a show for our final evening together. Be sure to bring costumes, instruments and ideas and be ready to put your individual skills to use as part of this fun performing team. Horse CampOne of our most popular camps. Register Early!Explore God’s creation at Heartland Center from horseback. You’ll be partnered with one of our experienced trail horses as you learn to care for them. Visit a racing horse farm, and enjoy a trail ride every day! You’ll also get to enjoy the fun activities of camp (like swimming, low and high ropes, archery) and will participate in cooking meals over a campfire. 5-night camp. Housed in A-Frame cabins. Work CampJoin this community of Christ in preparing Heartland’s grounds for the rest of its summer. Work Camp is a partnership between the Presbytery of Northern Kansas and Heartland Center. During the day we might be clearing trails, moving gravel, painting buildings, splitting wood or other jobs. At night you’ll enjoy camp activities like worship, horseback riding, swimming and our challenge course. Your week is capped off with a day at Worlds of Fun amusement park to celebrate! Night Owl CampDo you like staying up late and sleeping in? Good news is, God’s love is 24/7! The unique schedule of this camp may be just what you are looking for. Life for a Night Owl camper begins with breakfast at “lunch time,” lunch at “dinner time,” and cooking a late dinner over the campfire under the stars. Night Owl campers will sleep in Pete’s Cabins and enjoy a wide range of camp activities like high and low ropes courses, field games, archery, night swims, night hikes, night games and worship.
