PCCCA Connections Events

2012 Kitchen Connection and Hospitality Connection

March 5-8. 2012

These two events held at the same time are designed to bring together camp and conference staff charged with food service and guest relations/marketing.  Each Connections event will have it’s own agenda and program, but we will join together for meals and fellowship.

Kitchen Connection Program

  • Learn creative ways to hire and train new employees as well as motivating current staff.
  • Discuss “kitchen economics.” What does  it really take to put a meal on the table? (Please bring an example of a few meals and the costs associated with them).
  • Experience a taste of Kansas City on Tuesday evening.
  • Wednesday evening we will conduct our version of “Iron Chef” in Grace Hall, our new kitchen/dining facility, complete with a secret ingredient!
  • We look forward to sharing recipes as well. Please bring a few of your favorites.
