Food Service

Gathering at the table is important to the success of any conference or event.  Heartand Center guests are treated to attractive salads, hearty main dishes, and delicious desserts. Each meal is carefully planned to provide a variety of options for guests with special dietary needs.

Conferences and Retreats held in Nunemaker Center, Cray Lodge, and Pete’s Cabin dine together in our Dining Hall.  There are no group or individual cooking facilities available in the Conference Center, Nunemaker and Cray Lodges or Pete’s Cabin.  No outside catering please.

Menu and food prices

Dining Hall Food Service (2011 prices subject to change)

Breakfast $8.00 per person   (Children 5-9 $6.00)

Sample Menu: Eggs, Bacon or Sausage, Waffles, Pancakes, French Toast or Biscuits and Gravy, Breakfast potatoes, Fresh Fruit and Yogurt, Cereal and Milk, Coffee and Juice

Lunch $10.00 per person (Children 5-9 $7.00)

Sample Entrees:Wraps, Soup and Sandwich Bar, Barbeque Sandwiches, Taco Bar, Gourmet pizza. Salad bar and beverages included.

Dinner $13.00 per person (Children 5-9 $8.00)

Sample Entrees: Chicken Breast, Beef Tips, Fried Chicken dinner, Brisket, Chicken Cordon Bleu. Salad Bar, Vegetables, entrée, bread, beverages, and dessert included.

$30 per day per adult for all three meals.

VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE WITH ADVANCE NOTICE. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $3 PER MEAL CHARGE FOR VEGAN MENUS.

Catering and Banquets

Heartland Center also provides options for catering meals, beverage service and snacks in meeting rooms or retreat cabins and banquets. Click here for more information.

Retreat groups in Oak Place, Trask Lodge or the House of Faith have the option of eating in our dining hall, or preparing their own meals.   NOTE: Heartland Center does not stock any cooking or eating utensils in the retreat lodges.
